ERIC has appointed Juliette Randall as its new Chief Executive.

Juliette said "I am passionate about children and young people having the support, tools and opportunities to thrive, so I’m delighted to join ERIC at such an exciting time in the charity’s development. I will be working with the team to build on ERIC’s 25 years of success in championing the cause of children’s continence by improving ERIC’s services and resources so that more children and families can be reached and helped.”

Before joining ERIC, Juliette spent four years as Chief Executive of Arnos Vale Cemetery Trust in Bristol, successfully raising the Cemetery’s profile as a visitor centre and heritage site. Previously Juliette had enjoyed a career in the Civil Service, most recently with the Government Office for the South West as a relationship manager working with stakeholders including local authorities, NHS and the Voluntary and Community Sector to support the delivery of government policy.

David Derbyshire, who acted as interim Chief Executive at ERIC since September 2014, has left the organisation. In the short time that David led the charity he oversaw ERIC’s bi-annual conference for health professionals working in the field of children’s continence, the launch of ERIC’s campaign to raise awareness of children’s constipation: ‘Let’s Talk About Poo’, and a very successful fundraising appeal on BBC Radio 4 which raised over £18,000 for the charity.
