Background

ERIC, The Children’s Bowel & Bladder Charity, is the only UK charity dedicated to improving the lives of all children and young people with continence problems (daytime wetting, night-time wetting, constipation, soiling and toilet training).

Childhood continence problems are more common than people realise: 1 in 12 children suffer with one and the emotional impact on their lives can be considerable. For many of the children and families who struggle to cope with these distressing conditions, ERIC is the only place they can come to for support, understanding and the information they need. Last year our Helpline supported over 2,000 families and through our training programme and the resources available on our website we have supported many thousands more across the UK

ERIC has gone through significant improvements to its processes and procedures around Finance and HR over the past few years. With the support of our outgoing Finance Manager we have made huge strides in this area yet there is still more to be done around automation and efficiencies. This is a great opportunity for someone to lead on these changes, making a real difference, to our ongoing development.
