Broadening horizons: Challenging our continence comfort zone

We will be holding our hugely popular Paediatric Continence Conference on 9 October at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole.

‘Broadening Horizons: Challenging our Continence Comfort Zone’ will offer both experienced professionals as well as those newer to the field, plenty of food for thought to use and develop in future practice.

Taking place every two years, it’s the only such event focused on children in the UK.

Who is it for?

The conference is aimed at continence advisors, continence nurses, school nurses, health visitors and paediatricians giving them the chance to hear from expert speakers working in the field of child and teenage bowel and bladder health. Attendance provides participatory learning hours required for nurses’ revalidation.

The conference also provides an invaluable opportunity to network with other health professionals and visit the stands of a broad range of exhibitors.

This conference will:

  • showcase new research
  • highlight the impact of continence problems on the everyday lives of children and teenagers
  • provide opportunities to learn about all stages of the continence journey
  • discuss innovative and practical management approaches
  • present resources to support delivery of continence care
  • provide the opportunity to submit a poster for presentation for professionals who have recently completed research or projects relating to paediatric continence
