Mary McGraw

I joined ERIC as a Trustee in 2013. I’m a retired children’s kidney doctor and was a medical advisor to the charity in 1988 when it was first formed. I feel privileged to have re-joined ERIC, which has grown so much in scope and influence over the years.

In my professional career I came into contact with many children who had longstanding continence problems and as a result I understand the challenges such children face.

In addition to my clinical experience I’ve held many leadership roles in the organisation and delivery of postgraduate training to paediatricians, both nationally and internationally. Through these roles I developed skills not only in the provision of education but also in liaising with a wide range of health and educational organisations.

By bringing this medical and educational expertise to the Board of Trustees I hope I can support and develop the important work that ERIC carries out to improve the lives of children with continence problems.
