Margaret Macaulay, RN, MSc is currently a continence technology research nurse with the Continence and Skin Health group at the University of Southampton. Her previous roles over the last 30+ years have been as a urology nurse, a community continence advisor and, for the last 16 years, a research nurse at UCL.

Her research interests are in various technologies and resources to support people with incontinence, their families and healthcare professionals through the development of better products, the optimisation of access to products and researching the effectiveness of products. Over recent years the focus of her work with colleagues at UCL and Southampton has been the potential for re-use of intermittent catheters in the Multicath programme and the development of resources for men with prostate cancer related incontinence.
