Fantastic information. Very knowledgeable speaker. Use of videos from children and parents was excellent and inspiring. The course will help me explain to young people and their families what might cause bedwetting and how to manage it. (George Silveira, CAMHS Practitioner)

Have greatly increased knowledge and understanding.  Excellent seminar - thank you.  (Joanna Knox, School Nurse)

This seminar introduces the 'Three Systems' as a means of understanding bedwetting, with a focus on a child-orientated, evidence-based approach to treatment. It includes recommendations from the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE), explores ways of applying this model to clinical practice and troubleshooting potential issues this might raise.

Course objectives

  • To explain the different causes of night time wetting and the importance of assessment in diagnosis
  • To improve knowledge of the treatments available and when to use them
  • To provide an understanding of relevant NICE guidance.
