This seminar looks at how the bladder and bowel should work and what to do when things go wrong. It includes management of constipation, daytime wetting and general continence promotion.

Course objectives

  • To develop understanding of promotion of healthy bladders and bowels in children
  • To increase knowledge of up-to-date facts on childhood bowel and bladder problems
  • To increase confidence in managing these conditions in the community
  • To provide an understanding of NICE Guidance on Idiopathic Constipation in Children and Young People and the impact that this may have on services
  • To establish areas where further learning and/or experience is needed.

Transport to the venue

Training will be in the Annexe Room.

Situated within the Shoreditch Triangle, with easy access to both the City and Brick Lane Market, the Human Rights Action Centre has excellent public transport links and is minutes’ walk from Old Street and Liverpool Street stations (Underground) and Shoreditch High Street station. (Overground).

It is easy to reach via many cycle routes and there is a Santander Cycle docking station just outside.

Payment information

The cost of the course is £175 per person. Lunch and refreshments are provided. Fees must be paid or invoiced before the start of the course.

Payment by card

At the checkout, make sure you enter the address that your card is registered to.

Payment by invoice

If you need us to send your organisation an invoice, you must obtain consent from your finance department prior to your booking and supply us with the necessary purchase order number. Please enter all your details including the invoicing address confirmed by your finance department; we'll then book your place on the course and send an invoice to your finance department directly.

Cancellation & transfer policy

If written notification is received 30 days before the course, we will issue a refund. We regret that no refunds can be made on bookings cancelled less than 30 days before the course. A colleague may attend in your place rather than forfeit the full course fee.

ERIC reserves the right to cancel the course. In the unlikely event of cancellation by ERIC, course fees paid will be refunded in full. 

If you need to transfer from one course to another, you can do so up to 30 days before the event, providing the course transfer is within the same financial year. We can only transfer you once per booking and if you cancel your booking after transferring, the full course fee is due.
