June 2009: Queen's birthday honours
We were delighted to hear that Dr Penny Dobson, former Director of ERIC has been appointed an MBE for services to healthcare. Penny, who retired last year, set up ERIC more than 20 years ago and worked tirelessly to promote the needs of children with childhood continence.
We were also delighted to hear that ERIC Trustee, Dr Tim Chambers has been appointed an OBE for services to healthcare. Tim works with young kidney patients at Bristol Children's Hospital and is also Bristol's High Sheriff.
Congratulations to both!

May 2009: Jenny Perez, Director of ERIC (pictured with Andrew & Sally Greaves) completed the 13 mile Just Walk fundraising event in Sussex and raised in excess of £1200 for ERIC. Well done Jenny! |

February 2009: ERIC links up with Netmums
On three days in February, ERIC Helpline's team answered dozens of queries on toilet training, childhood bedwetting, daytime wetting, constipation and soiling on the Netmums' coffee house forum. The response to ERIC's presence on the forum showed us just how much our services are needed by parents of children of all ages. If you would like to view the range of questions and ERIC responses, why not find out more by logging on to the Netmums' forum? ERIC's Helpline is available every week day from 10am-4pm.
