ERIC is pleased to report on the following events.
New Director for ERIC
ERIC is pleased to announce the appointment of Jenny Perez as its new Director. Jenny comes to ERIC with over 15 years' experience in the voluntary sector, having worked for Help the Aged, Marie Curie Cancer Care and Shelter.
Former Project Manager of Bristol City Council’s ‘Read a Million Words’, Jenny said:
‘Childhood continence is not an easy subject for children, young people and their parents / carers to talk about. I am looking forward to the challenge of building on ERIC’s past successes and with an aim of ensuring that every
child and family who suffer with this problem know that ERIC is here and can help.’
Jenny’s predecessor, Penny Dobson founded ERIC as a charity to help parents deal with bedwetting. Over the years, ERIC has moved forward to include not only bedwetting, but also daytime wetting and soiling support and information. Today, this busy and innovative charity offers a Helpline, a webshop, training and seminars, lobbies and campaigns for improvements in school toilets and drinking water and much, much more.

Charity Awards 2008
ERIC was the winner in the Children and Youth Category of the 2008 Charity Awards. The focus was ERIC's Water is Cool in School and Bog Standard campaigns, but ERIC's overall work was also applauded. The Charity Award judges were looking for examples of excellence from which other organisations can learn. They felt that ERIC was especially deserving of that recognition.
