Paediatric Continence Forum
Paediatric Continence Forum |
The Paediatric Continence Forum (PCF) is a group of health professionals, patient representatives and companies that have come together to raise awareness of childhood bladder and bowel problems through lobbying MPs and the government. It is chaired by Penny Dobson, ERIC’s former Director.
The PCF succeeded in having childhood continence problems included in the National Service Framework (NSF) for Children in 2004, in the section on the Ill Child. The NSF is the template for children’s services for the next ten years, so this was a major achievement.
