Volunteer for ERIC
We are often looking for volunteers to help in the following areas:
ERIC’s Board of Trustees
ERIC’s work is overseen by a governing body of volunteers from a variety of backgrounds. Our Board of Trustees helps to direct the work of the charity. We need people who are interested in actively supporting the charity’s work and are able to attend quarterly meetings in and around Bristol. As a children’s charity, we are especially keen to recruit young people to the Board. Further information is available from ERIC’s Director, Penny Dobson.
ERIC’s Clinical Advisory Committee
The information on wetting and soiling that ERIC provides to families and professionals is based, as far as possible, on research. Our Clinical Advisory Committee is made up of expert health professionals working in the areas of childhood bedwetting, daytime wetting, constipation and soiling, and they advise ERIC on important developments and best practice. If you are interested in being considered for membership of the Clinical Advisory Committee, please contact ERIC’s Director, Penny Dobson, by email.
ERIC’s Clinical Advisory Committee can also advise on research projects. If you would like to know more about this, please contact ERIC’s Director, Penny Dobson, by email.
Administrative support at our office
We often need volunteers to help with office-based tasks, like photocopying, filing, word processing etc. If you live within easy travelling distance to Kingswood in Bristol and are able to give a few hours a week or a month, we would love to hear from you! Please email us to find out more.
Fundraising
Being a charity, ERIC depends on donations to carry out its work. There are lots of ways you can help to fundraise for ERIC and we really need your help! If you are interested in fundraising for ERIC, please 0117 301 2103 and leave a message, or contact Penny Dobson by email. We hope to hear from you.
Giving out ERIC posters and leaflets in your local area
We want as many people as possible to know about ERIC, so that we can support more young people and families who need our help. If you are able to put up posters or postcards about ERIC in your local doctor’s surgery, community centre, library, supermarket etc., please email us.
Please provide your name and address and tell us how many posters and postcards you could distribute. |
