Welcome to the children’s section of ERIC’s website! We are glad you found time to visit and we hope that you will come back often.

You can read stories of children who have bedwetting, daytime wetting, soiling or constipation problems in this part of the website, and you can contact other children by posting a message. Bladder and bowel problems are very common - you are not alone!

November 2008 - new children's story from ERIC!

Sam's Story is a short story about an 8 year old boy who soils. Through Sam we find out what soiling is, how it can be helped and how Sam gets on when he gets help. The booklet is aimed at 7 to 10 year olds but anyone is welcome to read it. You can download the booklet here.

We would really like to hear from children what you think about the booklet. Please email us or you can download a form which asks you a few questions about Sam's Story here.

Message board

If you post a message on the message board, you won’t be able to see it straightaway because we read all the messages first to make sure people are being friendly and helpful. Messages that aren’t nice don’t get posted.

We decide whether or not to post a message. We may also change the text if we need to. We take out any information that could let people find out where you live and your email address, to protect you.
