ERIC - Education and Resource for improving childhood continence - Helpline 0845 370 8008

Campaigns

ERIC runs two-school based campaigns; one is to improve drinking water provision in schools and and the other is to improve toilet facilities for pupils.

Being able to drink fresh water throughout the school day and being able to use good quality toilets when needed, are important to keep well, and are especially important for children and young people who have wetting, constipation or soiling problems.

Improved water and toilet facilities and access can also help prevent these problems from happening in the first place.

ERIC considers that being able to drink fresh water free of charge throughout the school day and being able to use good quality toilets when needed are basic human rights for pupils.

You can find out what ERIC and its partners are doing to make things better for pupils at our campaign websites.
